Patinal® stands for more than 30 years of production experience and excellence in evaporants for optical coatings.
Patinal® evaporation materials have been designed to meet the specific requirements of optical thin film production using physical vapor deposition (PVD). Our portfolio comprises more than 40 evaporation materials including fluorides, oxides, sulfides, and metals – all offering outstanding quality and reliability. Depending on your requirements, we can provide you with granules, tablets, or discs. Our suboxides help to reduce melt preparation times, and special oxide mixtures allow to adapt film properties e.g. for the right deposition on plastic substrates. For reduced processing times, we also offer high-density oxide mixtures.
All of our Patinal® materials are manufactured and tested according to the highest quality and processing standards. They have a proven track record when it comes to high performance in optics manufacturing. Due to their high purity, low spitting levels, and high process stability, Patinal® evaporation materials enable very durable optical coatings – even in the most challenging applications such as laser systems or optics used in harsh environments.
Product features:
Like for all our products, the quality of every batch of Patinal® products is tested. This includes application testing to safeguard high and reliable batch-to-batch reproducibility and ensure materials performance in accordance with uniform standards for each coating process. Our quality controls are performed in compliance with all prevailing standards and regulations. Aside from material safety data sheets, we also provide certificates of analysis for all batches through our website.
